What is the Energy Efficiency Grant?

The Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG), administered by Enterprise Singapore, co-funds energy-efficient equipment — including commercial refrigerators — for businesses operating in Singapore.

Why TOROL fridges qualify

The EEG only supports pre-approved, energy-efficient equipment. For commercial refrigerators, the key requirement is true inverter technology — and every TOROL model runs a genuine 3-stage inverter compressor. That is why all 21 TOROL chillers, freezers and combo fridge-freezers appear, by name, on the official EEG pre-approved equipment list.

How to claim the grant

The EEG is applied for through the Government’s Business Grants Portal. The most important rule: apply before you pay.

Apply first

Submit your EEG application on the Business Grants Portal before paying any deposit to a supplier.

Get your outcome

Wait for the application result. You may choose to proceed before the outcome if it is very urgent.

Purchase & install

Buy and install your TOROL unit within the allowed window — up to one year from approval.

Claim reimbursement

Submit your claim with invoices and proof of installation to receive your co-funding.

The Energy Efficiency Grant is a Government scheme administered by Enterprise Singapore. Support rates, caps, eligible sectors and deadlines are set by the Government and may change. Always confirm the current terms and your eligibility on the official Business Grants Portal (businessgrants.gov.sg) and GoBusiness before applying. TOROL is a supplier of pre-approved equipment and does not administer the grant or guarantee approval.
