For a cafe, bubble tea shop or bakery, a glass-door chiller is not just storage — it is shopfront. Stocked and lit well, it sells for you all day.

Your chiller is a silent salesperson

Customers buy what they can see. A drinks or dessert chiller sitting in the right spot, looking full and inviting, turns “just a coffee” into “a coffee and a cake”. Treat it as a display, not a cupboard.

How to merchandise it

  • Best-sellers at eye level. The middle shelves get the most attention — put your highest-margin items there.
  • Keep it full. Full shelves look abundant and sell; half-empty ones look like leftovers. Face products forward, labels out.
  • Group it logically. Drinks together, desserts together — make it easy to choose.
  • Light it. Good interior lighting makes colours pop. A dim chiller hides your stock.
